South Carolina

Our only site seeing trip was driving backwards one hour to Georgia as to see Savannah. I’m glad we did, it was a quaint place with lots of history. If we didn’t have the dogs we’d have explored even more. They needed outside time and were so well behaved, very friendly to everyone. Of course m, they love the attention. We all definitely got a lot of exercise and some great pictures. —See my Savannah blog :)

We didn’t do much in South Carolina, but repair our trailer and grocery shop. I tried to connect with my niece, Jodee, who lives there, but unfortunately, we were to far from her and leaving too soon. My other plan was to visit Charleston and the Magnolia Plantation. Unfortunately, because we decided to back track to Savannah, we were just too exhausted to have a next day excursion. These activities can be really exhausting!

We had to leave for North, Carolina the following morning. If the original campground hadn’t messed up, we would have had two more days to explore. I’m was so disappointed, not sure if or when we’ll make it back.

Our only pictures are of our cute dogs and broken trailer. The trailer was damaged underneath when we were driving on the freeway. A semi truck in front of us ran over a tire which kicked back to us. Shane couldn’t do anything but run over it. The damage was to the drain covers that are to the holding tanks.
