Pieweka Peak, Phoenix AZ

Pieweka Peak, Dreamy Draw was my last adventure in Arizona. We met up with my long time friend of 40 plus years, Shannon, whom I hadn’t seen for over two years. Shane and the dogs stayed for a bit to visit, then Shannon and I hiked a trail and explored the area. We encountered chipmunks that we initially thought were squirrels. Shannon drove me home after our hike and was able to see where we’d been staying. It was a fun day, just wish we were able to stay longer so I could hang out more with my friend and explore more hiking trails.

We arrived in Port Orange, Florida Thursday February 23rd. I immediately didn’t like the RV park, and I still don’t. It’s old and run down with a train track that runs right behind the park, trains run all hours… they’re insanely loud! On a good note, I found a place to get a massage and decided to try a hymilan salt stone massage. It was wonderful, so relaxing!!! I highly recommend trying one. Once I was finished, Shane and I got lunch from Panera, yum! And then we found a great dog park for the dogs to play-in, and socialize. Afterwards, we decided to explore the beach front areas close to Port Orange, where we’re staying.  We stumbled upon Ponce Inlet while looking for a dog friendly beach.We thought we’d get to drive onto the beach in Daytona. Since we weren’t seeing anything, we headed for a lighthouse that was supposed to be close by. That’s when we discovered a park with a river area for dogs. Victoria BC, Canada

Our Ferry ride to Victoria BC. We enjoyed traveling there, as much as exploring. We stayed two nights in a hotel and had dinner in the pub next door after we settled in and planned our adventure.  We had breakfast in a cute diner where I became infatuated with a coffee mug, so I decided to buy one. We then went shopping at the local shops close to the hotel, and walked around just taking it all in while exploring interesting shops. I bought a wool hat and an oyster charms at a quaint Irish store. We toured the Craigdorrach Castle. We also visited the Royal BC Museum. Had a drink and desert at the Empress and took a plane ride out of Victoria Harbour.  Found a castle to visit                          Royal BC Museum ⬇️⬇️ I’m
