Cave City, Kentucky -The Mammoth Caves

We were so happy with our choice when visiting Kentucky. We stayed in Cave city, which is about 10 minutes away from Mammoth Caves.

We loved exploring the caves and enjoyed walking through the hiking trail with the dogs, which was along the Appalachian Mountains —I didn’t know that until Shane glued me in. We also took some Dinosaur pictures in the town of cave city for the grandkids. Only a two night stay but we made the most of it.

Fun Fact: The Mammoth Caves are the oldest in the world and cover 400 miles. There’s many ways to explore the caves. A basic tour like we did, or other tours ranging from 2-6 hours. Sharing a link of interesting information about Mammoth Caves.😊
