Carrollton, Ohio

We visited Carrollton Ohio for three days. For two days, we just rested and enjoyed the campground. It was a beautiful area and we (almost) had the campground to ourselves, it was very quiet and peaceful and the weather was perfect. For the first time, we built a fire and roasted marshmallows for S’more.

On our last day, we went to visit Shane’s friend and his wife. They were just 20 minutes away. We enjoyed a nice  dinner outside, and really good conversation. They were very nice people. We also got to see baby foxes that they are caring for until they can be released back into the wild.

They also had alpacas, horses and dogs. We were able to visit with all the animals and learn more about the area. It’s much cheaper for land in Ohio and it’s such a gorgeous area.

Overall, a lovely visit to Ohio and a nice drive through on our way to Indiana. Took some pictures of the landscape and of our visit to Jim and Tracy’s.
