Gator Land, Cousin Barb

I got to experience hanging out with 2000 alligators and my cousin Barb… lol. She took me to a place called gator land. It was a lot of fun, we spent the whole day walking around looking at gators, turtles, flamingos, and other birds and wildlife. I even got my picture taken really close to a bunch of hungry alligators… a surprise that Barb set up when I stepped away… good thing they were well fed! —I could have been their lunch… lol 😝 It was a great time, and  I enjoyed another new experience. 

Afterwards, Barb and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner, and great conversation at PF Changs, then shopping at Macy’s. Before dropping me off, we had to grab a slice of cheesecake to go from the Cheesecake Factory (I would later regret) definitely got my steps in. Overall a lovely day!! Thank you, Barb! 😊

We arrived in Port Orange, Florida Thursday February 23rd. I immediately didn’t like the RV park, and I still don’t. It’s old and run down with a train track that runs right behind the park, trains run all hours… they’re insanely loud! On a good note, I found a place to get a massage and decided to try a hymilan salt stone massage. It was wonderful, so relaxing!!! I highly recommend trying one. Once I was finished, Shane and I got lunch from Panera, yum! And then we found a great dog park for the dogs to play-in, and socialize. Afterwards, we decided to explore the beach front areas close to Port Orange, where we’re staying.  We stumbled upon Ponce Inlet while looking for a dog friendly beach.We thought we’d get to drive onto the beach in Daytona. Since we weren’t seeing anything, we headed for a lighthouse that was supposed to be close by. That’s when we discovered a park with a river area for dogs. Victoria BC, Canada

Our Ferry ride to Victoria BC. We enjoyed traveling there, as much as exploring. We stayed two nights in a hotel and had dinner in the pub next door after we settled in and planned our adventure.  We had breakfast in a cute diner where I became infatuated with a coffee mug, so I decided to buy one. We then went shopping at the local shops close to the hotel, and walked around just taking it all in while exploring interesting shops. I bought a wool hat and an oyster charms at a quaint Irish store. We toured the Craigdorrach Castle. We also visited the Royal BC Museum.
