Almost Home….Pendleton & Welches, Oregon

Image
Returning home is bittersweet. We didn’t see all the United States, but we did see 37 of them, and two provinces, British Columbia, Victoria and Vancouver Canada, and Ontario Canada. Quite the adventure in one year’s time. I spent a week in Welches at a Thousand Trails campground while Shane got things set up on the property we’re buying. It was nice to have the kids and grandkids visit while there. My grandson, Alex got to stay a few days with me and the dogs so I wasn’t alone. Alex and I enjoyed bike rides, walking the dogs, exploring and spending time together.

Mountain Home, Idaho 4th of July

Image
We spent the 4th of July in Mountain Home Idaho. The RV park was very nice. We were able to ride our bikes on pavement and take nice walks with the dogs. We explored the downtown area, found a great coffee shop and lots of street art. I enjoyed stopping in many areas to take cool pictures of the wall art.  Our view from the park was great for seeing the fireworks on the 4th of July. It was a clear night so we could step out and enjoy the view. The dogs didn’t seem to be bothered by the noise, which was nice.  We also visited Caldwell, Idaho while there, it was just over an hour away from where we were. My granddaughter Sophie was turning 15 so we were able to get together to celebrate her birthday and visit with her, Aaron, Kalae and Mable. The little town of Caldwell was super cute, they had a community square in the center of the many older buildings that were apparently remodeled into adorable shops and restaurants. The restaurant we ate at was wonderful. We really had a go...

Twin Falls, Idaho

We explored Twin Falls, Idaho. It was beautiful and a perfect day, we were able to take the dogs too. My friend Shannon had told me about Twin Falls, saying it was a must see… she was right! So glad we got to see it. On our way in we drove by a stunning church, had to stop for a picture.
