New York City, NY

New York was the busiest, most crowded place that I’ve ever been. But, I kinda liked it! It was fast paced, and once you learned to move in and out of the people and traffic, you could get around just fine.We did the hop on, hop off bus, like we do in most places now, so that we can get our bearings and learn about the city and where things are -Very helpful! The second day we used the bus, ferry and our feet, we walked at least half the way back to our Hotel. The Theater were we saw Hamilton, was conveniently located across the street from our Hotel,  and Time square was just a block away. We couldn’t have planned it better. We loved the play and were absolutely fixated the whole three hours. It was really that good!! Ellis Island was interesting, I found my mothers maiden name, McNicholas and her grandmothers maiden name, Gallagher on the Ellis Island Memorial, located outside of the museum —pics below.
